Evening on Antique Row Frequently Asked Questions
When and Where
The main event will be held Saturday, March 9, from 6–9 pm, on South Dixie Highway in the 6-block section between Southern Blvd on the south and Monroe Drive on the north, in West Palm Beach. This section of Dixie Highway will be closed to traffic, as the party is held in the shops and on the street.
There are two check-in locations. Coming from the north, please check in at Monroe Street and Dixie Highway. Coming from the south, please check in at Southern Blvd and Dixie Highway.
Parking | Self and Valet
(1) Valet parking will be available for $10.00 per car just N of the intersection of Southern Blvd and Dixie Highway.
(2) There is limited parking on the residential side streets.
(3) Consider car pooling with friends and family, or taking an Uber/Lyft.
VIP Lounge and After-party
Cap off an awesome evening at the After-party with complimentary cocktails, food, and entertainment! Access to the party is included in the VIP tickets. General admission ticket holders who would like to attend can upgrade their tickets prior to (at a discount) or at the event.
The After-party begins at 8:00 pm and goes until 11:00 pm. The tent will also serve as a VIP lounge area for sponsors and VIPs from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm with an open bar.
Food and Drinks
There will be plenty! Each ticket holder will receive a wrist band and refillable cup for food and drink throughout the night. About 50 stores are participating, and each is serving a complimentary beverage, which may be wine, beer, specialty cocktail, coffee, or other beverage. You will find everything from Champagne and beer on tap to some pretty crazy adult beverage concoctions. The wrist band provides 5 great taste plates to select from our 10 restaurants. Some stores may also serve light bites.
Take the night off! Though we love children (and hope you bring them to our admission-free Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum), they may not fit into the revelry. Adult beverages are being served and stores are filled with priceless antiques.
Buy early online or by calling the Historical Society (561-832-4164 ext. 100) for your VIP ($100.00 in advance) or General Admission tickets ($40.00 in advance). Tickets can also be purchased at check-in but why wait? The street itself is open to the public, but the cocktails and food are only for ticket holders and can only be obtained with an “official” cocktail glass and wristband.
This is a fundraiser for the Historical Society of Palm Beach County and 100% of the proceeds go to support education programming in history and civics for tens of thousands of children and adults throughout Palm Beach County. Really! We can’t do it without the support of people like you!
Tickets are non-transferable. Purchasers must be present when picking up tickets or notify HSPBC of ticket user/guest names prior to the event by noting it in the comment section at online checkout or by email.
Who will be there?
Palm Beach County has a lot of great events to choose from during the “season” but if you can only chose one… this is it! We expect over 1200 people to be in attendance, so if you are looking to reconnect with old friends or make new friends this is the place to be.
Take a look at our Young Friends Steering Committee and Sponsors lists to see who is already connected to the event.
Who are the Young Friends of the Historical Society?
The Young Friends are a steering committee who elected to join the Historical Society of Palm Beach County to celebrate history and network through social opportunities. You do not have to be a Young Friend to attend their events. They plan EOAR and other events throughout the year. They are selected for their interest and commitment to the organization and demonstration of personal and professional leadership within the community.
