EOAR FAQ’s

Evening on Antique Row Frequently Asked Questions

When and Where
The main event will be held Saturday, March 3, from 6 – 9 pm, on South Dixie Highway in the 6-block section between Southern Blvd on the south and Monroe Drive on the north, in West Palm Beach. This section of Dixie Highway will be closed to traffic, as the party is held in the shops and on the street.

Check-in locations
There are two check-in locations. For those coming from the north, please check in at Monroe Street and Dixie Highway.  For those coming from the south, please check in at Southern Blvd and Dixie Highway.

Parking | Self and Valet
There are several parking options. Catch The Free Ride from the Prospect Place parking lot (3111 S Dixie Hwy) or look for street parking along the various cross streets in the general area of the event.

Valet parking will be available for $10.00 per car just above the intersection of Southern Blvd and Dixie Highway.

VIP Lounge and After-party
Cap off an awesome evening at the After-party with complimentary cocktails, food and entertainment!  Access to the party is included in the VIP tickets. General admission ticket holders who would like to attend can upgrade their tickets prior to or at the event.

The After-party begins at 8:00 pm and goes until 11:00 pm.  The tent will also serve as a VIP lounge area for sponsors and VIPs from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. There will be complimentary food and open bar in the tent throughout the evening.

Food and Drinks
Yes! There will be plenty. Each ticket holder will receive a wrist band and refillable cup for food and drink throughout the night. Over 40 stores are participating, and each is serving complimentary wine, beer, specialty cocktail or other beverage. You will find everything from Champagne and beer on tap to some pretty crazy adult beverage concoctions. The wrist band provides 5 great taste plates to select from our 10 restaurants. Some stores are also serving light bites.

Children
Take the night off!  Though we love children (and hope you bring them to the admission-free Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum — operated by the HSPBC in the 1916 Historic Court House in downtown West Palm Beach), they may not fit into the revelry. Adult beverages are being served and stores are filled with priceless antiques.

Tickets
Buy early online or by calling the Historical Society (561-832-4164 x100) for your VIP ($125.00) or General Admission tickets ($65.00). Look for our coupon in The Palm Beach Post for a discount code and save $10 per ticket! Tickets can also be purchased at check-in but why wait?

Do you need a ticket?  The street itself is open to the public, but the cocktails and food are only for ticket holders and can only be obtained if you have an “official” cocktail glass and wristband.

This is a fundraiser for the Historical Society of Palm Beach County and 100% of the proceeds go to support education programming in history and civics for tens of thousands of children and adults throughout Palm Beach County.  Really!  We can’t do it without the support of people just like you!

Tickets are non-transferable. Purchaser must be present when picking up tickets or notify HSPBC of  ticket user/guests names prior to the event by noting it in the comment section at check out or by email.

Who will be there?
Palm Beach County has a lot of great events to choose from during the “season” but if you can only chose one… this is it!  We expect over 1200 people to be in attendance, so if you are looking to reconnect with old friends or make new friends this is the place to be.

Take a look at our Young Friends Steering Committee and Sponsors lists to see who is already connected to the event.

Who are the Young Friends of the Historical Society?
The Young Friends are a special membership group within the Historical Society of Palm Beach County who elected to join the organization to celebrate history and network through social opportunities.  You do not have to be a Young Friend to attend their events, they just know about them first!

The EOAR Steering Committee is an exclusive group who plan EOAR and other events throughout the year. They are selected for their interest and commitment to the organization and demonstration of personal and professional leadership within the community.
