Evening on Antique Row Frequently Asked Questions
When and Where
The main event will be held Saturday, March 7, from 6–9 pm, on South Dixie Highway in the 6-block section between Southern Blvd on the south and Monroe Drive on the north, in West Palm Beach. This section of Dixie Highway will be closed to traffic, as the party is held in the shops and on the street.
There are two check-in stations. If you come from the north, please check in at Monroe Street and Dixie Highway. From the south, please check in at Southern Blvd and Dixie Highway.
(1) Your safety is our first priority. Consider taking an Uber/Lyft or carpooling with friends and family.
(2) There is limited parking on the residential side streets.
3) There will be NO valet this year.
VIP Lounge and After-Party
Cap off an awesome evening at the After-Party with complimentary cocktails, food, and entertainment! Access to the party is included with VIP tickets. General Admission ticket holders can upgrade their tickets prior to the event (at a discount) or at either check-in station during the event.
The After-Party begins at 8:00 pm and ends at 11:00 pm. The VIP tent will also serve as a VIP lounge area with open bar for sponsors and VIPs starting at 6:00 pm.
Food and Drinks
There will be plenty! At check-in, each ticket holder will receive a wristband and refillable cup for food and drink throughout the night. About 50 stores are participating, and each will offer a complimentary beverage, such as wine, beer, specialty cocktail, coffee, or something else. You may find Champagne, beer on tap, or some pretty crazy adult beverage concoctions. The wristband is used to claim 5 great taste plates of your choice from our 12 restaurants. Some stores may also serve light bites.
Take the night off! Though we love children (and hope you bring them to our admission-free Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum), they may not fit into this revelry. Adult beverages are being served and stores are filled with priceless antiques. This is a 21+ event.
Buy your advance-discount tickets online or by calling the Historical Society (561-832-4164 ext. 100). Tickets can also be purchased at check-in at regular prices, but why wait? The street itself will be open to the public, but an “official” cocktail glass and wristband are required to obtain food or drink.
This is a fundraiser for the Historical Society of Palm Beach County ,and 100% of the proceeds go to support education programming in history and civics for tens of thousands of children and adults throughout Palm Beach County. We can’t do it without the support of people like you! Really!
Tickets are non-transferable. Purchasers must pick up their wristbands and glasses personally OR notify HSPBC of ticket user/guest names prior to the event. Either note names in the Comment section at online checkout, or by email if needed.
Who will be there?
Palm Beach County has a lot of great events to choose from during the “season” but if you can only chose one… this is it! We expect over 1,500 people to attend, so if you are looking to reconnect with old friends or make new ones, this is the place to be.
Take a look at our Young Friends Steering Committee and Sponsors lists to see who is connected to the event.
Who are the Young Friends of the Historical Society?
The Young Friends are a steering committee who elected to join the Historical Society of Palm Beach County to celebrate history and network through social opportunities. You do not have to be a Young Friend to attend their events. They plan EOAR and other events throughout the year. They are selected for their interest and commitment to the organization and their demonstration of personal and professional leadership in the community.
