Friday Historical Walking Tours
Take a step back in time on our Historical Walking Tours! The HSPBC hosts Downtown West Palm Beach History Strolls led by architect and historian Rick Gonzalez of REG Architects on the first Friday of the month during Season. The 90-minute guided tour showcases the evolution of the city’s buildings and landmarks, including a historical overview of urban design through recent area development. The tours have been organized each season since the development of CityPlace in West Palm Beach.
4:00 pm Friday tours begin at the second-floor entrance to the historic 1916 Courthouse, 300 N Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach. The tour fee is $10 per person with reservations required. Tours are rain or shine. Call 561.832.4164 ext. 2 with questions.

Saturday Historic Walking Tours
Explore downtown WPB’s history during an interactive Walking History Tour on the first and third Saturday, October through April! In partnership with the City of West Palm Beach Green Market, the 90-minute guided tour will start at 10 a.m. and be led by architect and historian Rick Gonzalez. The tours will highlight the evolution of downtown West Palm Beach buildings and landmarks. Tours begin “by the Banyan tree” on the north end of Clematis Street, 101 N. Clematis St., and end at the Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum, at 300 N. Dixie Hwy. Tickets are $10 per person and there is a minimum 10 reservations for the tour to take place.

Walking tours are rain or shine. Refunds will only be given if tour is canceled because the minimum number of reservations is not met..

Sunset History Cruise
April 22, 2018
Join the Society for an intimate Sunset History Cruise aboard the Mariner III, a 122-foot classic motor yacht built in 1926, for an early evening pleasure cruise. Passengers will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails as a special guest speaker regales voyagers with a private tour of the waterway. Proceeds will benefit education programs for local school children.
Tickets are $150.00 per person. The event is often sold out weeks in advance and seating is limited.
