Volunteers make a difference.

Would you like to be a volunteer for the Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum? Do you like working with people and have an interest in the history of the county? Then join us today!

Many volunteer opportunities exist: docent, gift shop assistant, office assistant, special events assistant, and sometimes archival assistant.

Museum docents interact with visitors and lead tours in the Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum. Docents are trained in a 10-week program held once a year and are asked to commit to a regular schedule.

College and university internships are available to qualified students. The Society collaborates with Florida Atlantic University (Honors College and Boca Raton History Departments), Palm Beach Atlantic University, Florida State University, and others.
